Emigrant Peak in the fall. Emigrant Peak, at just over 11,000 feet towers over the town of Emigrant, and is visible from much of the Paradise Valley. The Yellowstone River, Chico Hot Springs, and the ghost towns Old Chico and Emigrant Gulch stand at the base of this peak, which is a destination for fly fisherman, hunters, and hikers from around the world. This portion of the Paradise Valley is quite simply one of the most beautiful spots in the world, and somewhere that everyone should spend some time at.
